KØM Special Event Station for MARC 75th Anniversary

Starting Saturday, September 23, through the end of the day Sunday, October 1, 2023 the Muscatine Amateur Radio Club will be celebrating it's 75th Anniversary by holding a Special Event under the callsign KØM. All logged contacts, on any band, are to be done in Zulu time and turned into Bruce - WBØGAG so the contact certificates can be emailed out. This means we need a valid email address for all stations contacted.

The purpose of the Special Event is to promote the 40th Annual Southeast Iowa Hamfest to be held at the Louisa County Fairgrounds in Columbus Junction, Iowa on Sunday, October 1 from 7:00am to 2:00pm. Please contact Bruce if you have any questions concerning this event.

If you are operating from your home QTH or mobile you must stay within your personal license frequency priviledges. If at a club station you can operate within the frequency limits of the highest class operator attending. Spread the word and make some contacts!
