Electronic Components Available to Area Builders

An assortment of electronic components available free of charge to local amateurs for radio building projects. This is because of a Silent Key that was an active member of our ARES team and an integral part of our organization. Jerry Schroder - KCØWWV was into radio most of his life. He owned JLS Electronics and did a lot with local businesses on business band equipment sales and service, as well as ham radio. Jerry is missed but in his memory we can offer up some of the many components that were part of his estate as an incentive for local area ham operators to build electronics projects.

In the near future a new page will be added to this website that will include some further information on Jerry, and his contribution to amateur radio, as well as a listing of some of the many components available to hams.

Donations will however be accepted and forwarded to Jerry's widow if collected.
